The Ludo Hero game is a modern digital adaptation of the classic family board game, Ludo. Up to four players race their four tokens from their starting base to their home triangle. Movement is determined by the roll of a single die.
To start in Ludo Hero, you must roll a six to move a token out of your base (yard) and onto the starting square. You then move your tokens clockwise around the board based on your dice roll. If you land on an opponent’s token, their token is sent back to their yard. If you land on a ‘safe’ square (usually marked with a star), you cannot be captured. The first player to get all four of their tokens to their home triangle wins.
In Ludo Hero unblocked, risk management is everything. Do not just move your front-running token. Spread your tokens out; this gives you more options and increases your chances of capturing opponents. Always move a token out of your yard if you roll a six, unless another move is critically safe. Use your safe squares strategically as waiting points.
The controls for Ludo Hero unblocked are entirely mouse-based, making it very accessible.
It is a combination of both. The dice rolls are pure luck, but the skill comes from deciding which token to move and managing the risk to your four pieces. It is a more strategic board game than, for example, the pure arcade skill of Crazy Cars.
They are very similar, but Ludo is a simplified version of the Indian game Pachisi (which Parcheesi is also based on). Ludo Hero follows the simple, direct rules most modern players are familiar with.
