The Supernova game is a space-themed .io game, similar to Agar.io. You play as a black hole (or star) and must absorb smaller, glowing orbs to grow. The goal is to become the largest player on the server while avoiding being eaten by bigger players.
Your black hole follows your mouse cursor. Move around the map to absorb the small, static orbs. As you grow, you can absorb other, smaller players. The key mechanic is that if you are ‘eaten’, you do not die; you just lose a lot of your mass.
In the beginning, just focus on eating the static orbs. Avoid all other players. Use the ‘boost’ (W key) to escape from a larger player, but be careful, as it ejects some of your mass. You can hide inside nebulas (clouds) to avoid being seen.
The controls for Supernova unblocked are standard for .io games.
It is extremely similar. The core mechanics of ‘eat to grow’, ‘split’, and ‘eject mass’ are identical. The main difference is the cool space theme and the ‘supernova’ visual effects. It is a solid alternative.
If you like the .io game formula, it is a great one. It is fast, competitive, and highly addictive. It is a very different kind of multiplayer than the territory-control of Paper Io 2.
